TrackResults has paid off a bit of Tech Debt and brought in some “Focus” to a few areas of the UX.
Featured Fix:
  • Customer Lookup is in Focus! Previously when typing search criteria into the Customer Lookup Bar, clicking Enter would trigger other action buttons on the same page before triggering the search. For example if you lookup-fixwere in a report builder and decided to do a quick search using the lookup, clicking enter would unexpectedly run the Analyze button rather than your search… Annoying right? Well we agree, so we fixed it!
    note: this issue was browser based, so you may need to clear your browser Cache in order for this fix to properly apply.
Other Improvements:
  • Dashboards: when setting your pane to report on and to sort by either abbreviated months, or by hours (fodashsortr example: Tour Times) the pane will now display the sort chronologically. Previously, these values would only sort alphabetically.
  • Dashboards: when adding a new pane or updating an existing pane the dashboard UX now brings you right to the pane you are working on, regardless of how big your dashboard is. Previously, updates would be saved to the pane, but you would be brought to the top of the Dashboard which may or may not show the pane you were working on.

Featured, New Feature:
  • Dashboard Users now have the ability to create a Copy of any existing Dashboard Pane – saving significant time when creating multiple displays. Additionally, users can copy panes from one dashboard to another*, or even copy a pane to an individual report. Just look for the copy icon shown on the Pane when in Live-Edit Mode.

New Features & Improvements:

  • Users who are tracking Pender Cancellation Requests that later turn into a Save (aka Superseded Contract) now have workflow validation that requires the superseded contract to be initially set as “Pender”. After saving the superseding contract as a Pender, it can then be changed to it’s final status. This process assures all calculations in the Pender Efficiency and Lost Volume Efficiency Views are accurate.
  • Customer Log-in pages have new messaging. Don’t forget to contact us so we can add your company logo, or custom messaging!
 Bugs Fixed:
  • Repaired errors that occurred when using the Analytics Quick Flip tool – specifically, when changing from the Sales Efficiency to the Pender Efficiency View.
Customers Upgraded:
  • Twenty-three accounts are now upgraded to the latest version (29.08) of TrackResults Software.

*copying from one dashboard to another can be done only if the destination dashboard is a personal “My Dashboard” type.

TrackResults upgrades 24 client accounts

TrackResults recently completed a mass upgrade of 24 legacy clients. The upgrade was necessary to continue to support legacy installations on versions older than Version 27. In general, the upgrade included up-to-date security, field level auditing, and additional flexibility to add new fields in the system. While this functionality has been part of TrackResults for 5 years, this set of customers had never felt the need to upgrade their system.

While TrackResults is well known for its analytical power in the timeshare industry, an estimated 60% of sales centers selling travel club products use TrackResults to capture and analyze their everyday activity. The clients included in this upgrade are actively engaged in both club and timeshare sales and have successfully run their business on TrackResults for 5 years or more.

TrackResults has released a series of bug fixes to our V29.08 deployments. These fixes are specifically targeted to improving the speed and efficiency of the user experience:
  1. Repaired the Create New Dashboard Pane Report Types to display based on Permissions.
  2. Repaired the Quick Flip of Report Types to display based on Permissions.
  3. Repaired Filter Function “Exclude”.
    note: Exclude acts as a shortcut to “Include all, Except” and will return results if there are other values within the same field. For example: Exclude gift “B” will return a tour with gifts A,B,C, but will exclude tours with gift “B” only.
  4. Repaired Filter Function “Has Sale”.
  5. Repaired Multi Page Click Through & Show All (up to 1000 records) on Detail Reports.
  6. Repaired “Report on” and Filter Function for “Weeks of the Year” (Monday to Sunday).
    note: sort by day of week is still Sunday to Saturday.
  7. Customer Lookup now searches multiple values (separated by space).
  8. Search Users now searches FirstName LastName (separated by space).

When ARDA asked me to talk on this subject I did what anyone would do.  I began a trip down a rabbit hole with our best and brightest analysts.  Some of what we discovered more than just surprised us.  We discovered strong evidence that income combined with the activity of peers in your social group is a stronger indicator of a persons propensity to buy a timeshare than age.  This evidence demands further study before it can become conclusive.  However as I mention in the talk or in case you missed the talk,  the results are fairly conclusive.  A strong indication that conspicuous consummation or in other words keeping up with the Jones is at play here.

Your owners and guests are happily posting content about the vacation they are enjoying at your resorts.  These people are in direct contact with a social group that is no longer limited to just the people on their street or close family. They are broadcasting directly to the people who are subscribing to the personal brand they are building online via social media.
