There is a certain award that businesses in the timeshare and vacation-ownership world crave –an award that numerous companies aim to achieve. But when it comes to whittling all the many contestants down to just one, the process becomes very selective. This is why it’s such a lofty achievement for the organization that receives ARDA’s prestigious ACE Innovator Small Company Award.

ARDA’s ACE Innovator Small Company AwardARDA Awards

Our very own Co Founder, Sean Nickerson, and Co Founder, Drew Reynolds, accepted the ACE Innovator Small Company Award on the night of April 15th at the ARDA Awards in Orlando, Florida. Given the vast number of companies aiming to achieve the recognition (many of which represent organizations much larger than TrackResults) the honor and esteem of coming out on top as the sole winner of this award has had a significant impact on TrackResults.

This year marked the first time the ACE Innovator Small Company Award was given, and TrackResults has set a future precedent as the first organization to receive it. “The fact that the award from ARDA echoes what we have been saying to our clients for years now –that our innovative solution sets us apart from all others—is truly invaluable to us,” Drew said.

“This award just reaffirms how we’ve been working to improve our industry,” Sean said. “It’s true; our product is new and original, giving our clients the ability to access data quickly, frequently, and with great ease, and that is something unprecedented in this industry and in the world of business intelligence as a whole.”

Award team winAt the heart of it all is the knowledge and validation from ARDA that TrackResults is serving the time-share and vacation industry with a truly innovative product. The ARDA Circle of Excellence categories were judged by a panel of outside business leaders who chose TrackResults’s business-analytics software because of its groundbreaking and game-changing capabilities that truly enable continuous improvement.

Raiders of the Lost Hierarchy and a couple other cool enhancements!

The long awaited return of our Location Restricted Data and the associated Business Rules is about to be available to our clients running the latest version of TrackResults! Venues, Hotels and Gift values have, from the beginning, been intended as Location (aka Sales Center) specific data. Unfortunately, those rules weren’t fully transferred from the older versions. Tech Debt paid! The values made available in these picklists will soon become 100% dependent on their associated Locations. If that isn’t enough data control for you, we have taken it a step further and built in optional Business Rules that will require a location be selected before a user can choose a Venue, Hotel, or Gift. Here’s a run down.

  1. Users will see only the Venue, Hotel, or Gift values that apply to their team or locations.
  2. With business rules in play, the Venue, Hotel, and Gift fields can be fully disabled until the location has been selected. Then, the values made available are only those that are specifically assigned to that location.
  3. Without the business rules in play, a user can first pick a Venue, Hotel, or Gift that is assigned to a location, but not another. Then, they can go up and select any location without losing the previously selected Venue, Hotel, or Gift. This odd edge case can be useful when the pool of Venues, Hotels, or Gifts must be more easily “cross pollinated” without the strict admin requirements.

Additionally, we’ve expanded our Sales Efficiency View KPI Library to contain Cancelled Count, Cancelled+Rejected Count, and Cancelled+Rejected $Volume as optional KPIs.

Last but not least, we’ve changed the default sort setting for our recently built Leads Detail View – most commonly known as the Check-in Detail View.

Orlando, FL May 16, 2019 – Anonymous sources in the United States Commerce Department report that both China and the United States are adding tariffs to all timeshare sales. A source close to the timeshare industry, is swiftly moving to lobby against the aforementioned tariffs. The issue at hand is the staggering impact of the current Trade War and its resulting tariffs on timeshare sales in the U.S.

U.S. based timeshare companies if initiated changes in operations to classify Chinese citizens as “Not Qualified” to tour. Seen as an act of war, the Chinese Consulate has already vowed to retaliate in the same way – cutting off access to the Hidden Kingdom to at least 5 or 6 adventurous families. Timeshare industry executives at a recent President’s Club sales retreat unanimously agreed that this is a “War of Qualifications” and will certainly cause tour counts in popular U.S. destinations such as Las Vegas and Orlando to drop by “busloads.”

NOTE: While this story may be intended as an attempt at humor…We can confirm that TrackResults specializes in the analytical perspectives leading executives want in any kind of War! We can also confirm that a “busload” is easy to identify, quantify, slice, dice, and analyze in TrackResults…within seconds.

What Gift Increases Favorite Kid Score (FCS) Score the Most?

April 25, 2019, Washington D.C. – Following the public release of the redacted Mueller Report, congress has awarded a commission based contract to TrackResults in an effort to combat a dreaded redaction wave from spreading to the private sector.

Statement from Congressional Leaders, “TrackResults wanted this to be a commission based deal, as they know how much upside there was on analyzing data. We awarded them $1,000,000.00 just for their research, but they sold us on the fact that commission was a win-win!”

TrackResults immediately sprung into action by polling hundreds of clients on reports submitted by their teams prior to their adoption of the popular business intelligence tool. Findings include, but are not limited to: rampant redaction, missing information, and worse still, clear evidence of collusion by sales managers looking to inflate numbers.

Excerpt from TrackResults’ findings: Vice President of Sales, Lineis Black, had a feeling reports were affected and the evidence proved redaction in all submitted sales reports. Using TrackResults, the VP found that numbers previously reported to him by his sales managers were clearly doctored. VP Lineis Black states, “had I been using TrackResults this could’ve saved me not only money, but time.”

TrackResults doesn’t let redaction slide. Don’t be like pre-TrackResults Lineis Black, get TrackResults today.

As Ms. Lotta Stats, the lead investigator in the effort, explained: “We didn’t have a lot of time. So, we selected TrackResults to quickly identify patterns of guests visiting various hotels in the area. TrackResults 6th Annual Poker Tournament

TrackResults is hosting its 6th annual charity fundraiser event benefiting on Sunday night, April 7th, coinciding with the blast-off of the ARDA World Global Timeshare conference in Orlando, Florida. Historically attended by only 100 invitation only sponsored poker players and special VIP guests, the incredibly fun annual Texas Hold ’em poker tournament (no cash prizes) is the primary source of support funds for SMOV cancer survivors. This event will occur at the appropriately named “Main Event” entertainment center, and has been repeatedly referred to as the highlight of the conference for 200 or so of the 3,000 or more attendees whom attend ARDA World. Timeshare industry executives and their management teams enjoy genuine facetime, networking with other industry powerhouses, tons of laughs, open bar cocktails, and a truly powerful philanthropic evening.

TrackResults puts a unique twist on its fundraising approach for this event by not opening it to the public. Hospitality industry leaders are invited to sponsor the event by making donations to reserve a limited number of player’s seats in the poker tournament, relative to the size of their donation or pledge commitment. To get a seat in the game you must receive a sponsor seat or becoming a sponsor yourself. To see a who’s who list of these sponsors, become a sponsor, or obtain a ticket to the event, visit

As a SMOV fundraiser, 100% of the net proceeds go to cancer survivors as a fully funded vacation at timeshare resorts around the world. These vacations are no strings attached to the cancer patient, and the green light from their physician is the only requirement. All the resort inventory and travel expenses for the patient’s travel is donated by timeshare industry resort developers, hospitality industry suppliers, service companies and timeshare travel clubs. These recovery vacations provide palliative care for the survivor to help recover from the mental, physical, financial and emotional damage of battling cancer.

Last week, a new individual record was set in our fundraising efforts by Valentinov Danchev. Val has supported SMOV for the past six years, and this year Mr. Danchev pledged $10,000, on the spot, when asked to donate. The size of Val’s pledge is already in the upper limits of our TrackResults corporate fundraising efforts, however when asked “Which brand do you want us to deliver the invoice for your pledge?,” Mr. Danchev replied “This is not a business transaction by our resort, rather this is my personal donation to help these brave survivors on the path to full recovery. I believe in these fighters and have seen the devastation of cancer first-hand.” Danchev then pulled his personal credit card from his pocket, handed it to our staffer to swipe and said “Please charge this to my personal card now, I’ll handle the details of accounting later.” This donation was the highest single transaction amount ever tendered from a single individual rather than a corporate entity in our seven years of soliciting donations and hosting this fundraising event.

Each year Valentino, through his partners and associations with Vidanta resorts, SQN Escapes, and his internal staff at Fidelis marketing, brings in waves of support to many charities. They volunteer with time, enthusiasm, and a one-team-one goal mentality that mines their extensive travel industry network to donate vacation resort dates, rooms, and fun activities to, and other charities, as true leaders in corporate citizenship.

Shawnah Sheehy, SMOV Board Member and COO of iMDirect Marketing said, “Running a non-profit is a constant labor of love. Organizing volunteers, donations, events, marketing and accounting is practically like having a second full-time job.” Cathy Backus, Founder of SMOV said, “Thank goodness we are lucky to have supporters like Val. He brings so much value to our organization, and his heart is in the right place.”

Chasing down C-suite executives for charitable donations can be an arduous task, requiring fundraisers to be willing to spend social equity and possibly impose on personal and business relationships. Fortunately travel industry professions are by nature a generous group, and it’s rare when we are soliciting yet “another ask” that we are turned down with some excuse espousing obstacles.

Drew Reynolds, TrackResults co-founder said, “Most CEOs and VP’s we approach can afford to write a personal check or whip out a credit card and donate a couple thousand dollars easily, and they do so because they really care. Val striking a personal check for 10k really sets the bar high for others to follow.” Todd Rogers, founder of the TrackResults poker tournament fundraiser said, “Even though some aren’t blessed with the good fortune of talent and success to be able to donate $10,000 like Val, virtually everyone is willing to donate something towards our cause. It may be a small donation or a pledge to go big next year, but everybody offers something up because I think we all lose a piece of ourselves when we lose someone to cancer. We just lost a friend and 25 year industry veteran named Brett Estes to cancer on February 7th. Brett was a great guy who helped others too. I recognize and respect that our sponsors are bombarded with requests for support donations; it can be overwhelming for them, and yet year after year they manage to find a way to say “yes, I want to help”.”
