TrackResults Launches new In-house Marketing Module

 

TrackResults, the timeshare Industry’s leading Business Intelligence software provider announced the launch of their In-house Marketing Module. This new functionality allows Sales and Marketing managers to capture and analyze the effectiveness of in-house marketing efforts in real time, while prospects are in-house. This new tool allows resorts to gauge the effectiveness of their marketing efforts to their most valuable prospects; the guests staying at the resort.

 

Implementation of this module disrupts the standard industry practices, allowing resorts to adapt their strategies and tactics based on current information as opposed to when monthly reports are released creating a more fluid sales environment that allows for adaptations while guests are still in house. The In-house Marketing Module has been installed and training is complete in seven locations throughout the US and Latin America.

 

Guest information can be imported from resort’s Property Management Systems (PMS) into TrackResults. Stages of the marketing funnel can then be updated as the guest travels down the sales path. This allows users to implement TrackResults on-the-fly reporting capabilities to calculate the key ratios of Leads to Appointments to Qualified Tours and create KPI’s that measure how effective their face-to-face efforts are with their on-site guests. The ability to sort these KPI’s by marketing source allows for marketing funds to be allocated where they are most effective.

When ARDA asked me to talk on this subject I did what anyone would do.  I began a trip down a rabbit hole with our best and brightest analysts.  Some of what we discovered more than just surprised us.  We discovered strong evidence that income combined with the activity of peers in your social group is a stronger indicator of a persons propensity to buy a timeshare than age.  This evidence demands further study before it can become conclusive.  However as I mention in the talk or in case you missed the talk,  the results are fairly conclusive.  A strong indication that conspicuous consummation or in other words keeping up with the Jones is at play here.

Your owners and guests are happily posting content about the vacation they are enjoying at your resorts.  These people are in direct contact with a social group that is no longer limited to just the people on their street or close family. They are broadcasting directly to the people who are subscribing to the personal brand they are building online via social media.

Given the vast number of companies aiming to achieve the recognition (many of which represent organizations much larger than TrackResults) the honor and esteem of coming out on top as the sole winner of this award has had a significant impact on TrackResults.

The TrackResults team traveled to Sarasota Florida the week of Feb 9th to attend the GNEX 2014: Timeshare Leaders Conference – The Global Meeting of Minds. Their days were spent in meetings with other industry leaders,and participating in great sessions geared towards brainstorming better ideas for our industry as a whole.

The team was presented the award for “Best Product Development” at the Perspective Magazine Awards Gala Dinner. The judges were particularly impressed with TrackResults as a simple to use, sophisticated tool for resort developers. This is an exciting win for TrackResults as it highlights the dedication and development that went into upgrading the software over the past year.

Perspective Magazine awards presented at GNEX 2014 were chosen through independent judges analysis (80%) and online voting from industry peers, managers and executives (20%). The award was presented at GNEX 2014: Timeshare Leaders Conference – The Global Meeting of Minds. This year the annual event at the Sarasota, Florida Ritz Carlton was attended by more than 106 vacation ownership companies.

TrackResults’s very own Sean Nickerson will be speaking on a panel this year at ARDA World about timeshares and millenials. With a growth in inherited timeshares, marketing initiatives need more and more to be aligned with the rising generation.

 

This Is Not Your Father’s Timeshare

On April 15, 2015, Sean Nickerson, TrackResults’s CMO, will have the opportunity of speaking on a panel for timeshare professionals from around the world at the premier annual ARDA World. This 4-day event will host more than 3,000 timeshare professionals from over 35 countries. The Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida was chosen as this year’s venue for all the forums, receptions, and important networking events that are a part of ARDA World every year.

“We never miss this event,” Sean said. “It’s the biggest gathering in the industry, and ensuring that we continue to play an important role in it is a high priority for us.”

This year more than 40 educational sessions, covering the whole spectrum of the timeshare industry trends, best practices, and top products will be presented. One important and noteworthy trend in the industry that will be talked about by Sean’s panel is the new generation of timeshare owners who are inheriting timeshares without knowing what to do with them. This diverse group of “millennials” is a ripe target for the promotion and education needed to get them started in timesharing. However, marketing to the millennial generation demands a new set of rules and an approach different from traditional methods.
